OM EL ARAB

EST. 1969
Located in the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley in California, Om El Arab began over 40 years ago in the Black Forest of Germany before it moved to California. The name “Om El Arab” translates to “Mother of All Arabians” in Arabic, and its breeding program is acclaimed as a world leader in producing World, International, and National Champions. Om El Arab’s foundation mare, the pure Spanish diva, *Estopa, stands as the cornerstone of the entire breeding program. Her influence and that of her son’s *El Shaklan, who was bred at Om El Arab, are unparalleled. Entire breeding programs have been established around the world based upon these two individuals.
Om El Arab is arguably the most successful private Arabian horse breeding program in the world. Decades of winning horses carrying the blood of Om El Arab reveal its unparalleled global influence. For example, legendary show horses and producers of chapions such as WH Justice, Ajman Moniscione, Versace, Escape Ibn Navarrone, Eternety Ibn Navarrone, Valentino, Aja Justify, Venetzia, Lady Veronika, Maximus, El Dorada, Al Palacio, Bess Faizah, Panarea by Palawan all carry the blood of Om El Arab in their veins.

Even over just the last decade, Om El Arab continues to prove itself an indomitable force in show rings around the world. In 2010, Om El Arab was named the prestigious recipient of the Breeder’s Cup at the Arabian Breeders World Cup – for the second year in a row. Later that year, Om El Al Azeem (*Al Lahab x Om El Beneera) was named U.S. Reserve National Champion Junior Stallion. Azeem continued his quest, winning the 2013 Scottsdale Gold Champion Stallion and 2015 Gold Champion Stallion at the inaugural Arabian U.S. Open in Central Park, New York.

Few will forget when the exotic yearling filly Om El Erodite walked out under the bright lights of the 2017 Marquise Invitational Sale, and left later the highest selling lot of the sale (and any sale since) at a whopping $1.55 million. She later was named Bronze World Champion Yearling Filly in Paris that November.

Most recently, the third-generation breeding stallion, Om El Sinon, became the talking sensation of the show world when was crowned 2019 Gold Champion Senior Stallion at the Arabian Breeders World Cup in Las Vegas… after only leaving the farm a few months prior for the first time in his life. He remains one of the hottest young breeding stallions in the world.
Om El Arab is regarded as one of the world’s premier, full-service facilities where breeding, foaling and herd management are combined with training, showing, promotion, education, riding and sales. This offers clients the peace of mind in not only assistance with breeding world-class Arabians, but also with the ongoing management, promotion, and marketing needs you may have. In fact, many of the champion horses around the world carrying Om El Arab bloodlines were bred by Om El Arab clients.
