It is with heavy – yet celebratory – hearts that we announce the passing of the great Om El Shahmaan. He died peacefully on Thursday night. Om El Shahmaan was the torchbearer of the El Shaklan legacy, and did so mightily. He shared his glorious inner and outer beauty to sons and daughters across all continents of the earth. November 12th was Sigi's birthday. We celebrated her all weekend long and on Sunday family and friends went on their first annual Sigi birthday trail ride. It was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, Om El Arab bred riding horses and chocolate cake. It was a perfect day!

The opening ceremony for the Championships at the All Nations Cup in Aachen were really special this year. They honored Sigi, Erwin Escher and Irina FIlsinger. Estopa won the Lifetime Award and Judy Forbis the Lifetime Achievement Award. To top it off of the 18 possible Championships to be won at the ANC, 14 of the Champions had Estopa in her pedigree!!!
