Om El Arab celebrates 35 years of success at the Salon du Cheval World Championships in Paris. With the 2015 Paris World Championships now over for another year we reflect back on the winners and it’s no surprise that the Om El Arab genetic powerhouses of Estopa and her son El Shaklan continue to dominate the winners circle at the Salon Du Cheval as they have done consistently for the last 35 years. Om El Arab bred and related horses have won top honors at the World Championships in Paris every year since its conception and are now simply too numerous to list. In 1976 Estopa was crowned Senior Champion Mare and her daughter Estasha (a full sister to El Shaklan) was crowned Junior Champion female. In 1981 El Shaklan was crowned reserve World Champion. At the 2015 World Championships these genetic giants could not be more relevant as they continue to dominate the winners circle with their descendants. Pedigrees rich in the royal blood of Om El Arab stand the test of time and prove that quality and fine breeding never goes out of fashion.
